"Vulnerable Work" Identifying Necessary Economic Shifts .
Many Black Women across Canada, the UK and Africa and now, with an increasing number of unemployed in the US due to recent economic attacks, have a high concentration on "vulnerable work" arrangements (like service jobs or temp work), which leaves her in further economic instability.
This session will transform your Thinking now! A wage gap challenge Black Women face in Canada, the UK and Africa as well as the US is not a talent issue; it's a systemic failure quantified by a phenomenon known as "occupational crowding."
We'll introduce you to (3) mechanisms that keep the vast racial and gender wealth gaps wide and what we call The Necessary-Shift to achieve genuine economic stability in a time of global disruption and racially charged socio-political environment that is disproportionately affecting Black Women across the dispora in one form or another.
